A guided coach day that starts in the Hotel Granvia Hiroshima lobby on the north side of the station and covers Itsukushima Shrine, Miyajima, Peace Memorial Park, the Atomic Bomb Dome and the Peace Memorial Museum.

The tour below runs 8 hours 20 minutes, from 25,000 yen, rated 4.6 ★ (520 reviews). It starts and ends at the Hotel Granvia Hiroshima 1F lobby, on the north side of Hiroshima Station facing the Shinkansen Plaza, so you do not have to work out the tram or the ferry timetable on the day.
A national government licensed English guide interpreter is with the group for the whole day. The Miyajima visitor tax, charged separately when you enter the island, is covered, as are the other admissions and the transport between the sights. Lunch is not included, and the hour allotted on Miyajima is when you eat.
Stop times are fixed and tight: 60 minutes at Itsukushima Shrine, 60 minutes on Miyajima, 20 minutes in Peace Memorial Park, 20 minutes at the Atomic Bomb Dome and 60 minutes inside the Peace Memorial Museum. That is close to the prefectural tourism board's own one-day model course, which allots about 220 minutes of stops across the same ground, and it explains why a Hiroshima day is tighter than the map suggests.
The Mt. Misen ropeway does not fit into this itinerary. It runs uphill only from 9:00 to 16:00 with the last descent at 16:30, and the ride plus the walk back from the summit observatory, about one kilometre to the ropeway station, needs far more than an hour. Whether the shrine looks afloat and whether the Great Torii can be approached on foot depend on the window in the Miyajima Tourist Association's daily tide table, and on many days there is no torii-walk window at all.
Go with this one if you are sleeping in Hiroshima, want a guided coach day rather than a walking day, and prefer the start to be a hotel lobby you can reach from the station platforms in a few minutes. If you only have half a day in the city centre, the five-hour walking tour makes more sense; if you are coming from Osaka or Kyoto, the escorted bullet train days do.

The options below cover the same two World Heritage sites with different lengths, inclusions and starting cities. The 6.5-hour small group day is the shortest if your train leaves in the late afternoon, one bus day arrives with lunch already arranged, another can be started from Osaka, Kyoto or Fukuoka instead of Hiroshima, and the bike and boat version swaps the coach for pedals and a crossing. Compare the tours on length first, then on what the price already covers.
